The Future-Fit Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Lisa Attenborough to its Board of Trustees.
Martin Rich, Co-Founder and Executive Director, says: “Future-Fit Foundation helps businesses gain a holistic understanding of their environmental and social impacts, and to measure, manage and articulate those impacts to create system value. Lisa’s expertise will be crucial in supporting businesses as they communicate their partnership with Future-Fit, as well as in our own communications as we grow and reach new audiences.”
He continues: “I’m delighted that Lisa has agreed to bring her incredible marcomms and PR skills and experience to our organisation. We are so grateful, every day, for the passion and effort that our amazing board gives us, and I know that Lisa is going to help raise the bar even higher.”
Lisa is a communications, marketing and PR expert with a strong interest in sustainability. In her recent role at the UK’s largest FMCG and food company, Arla Foods, she was responsible for creating and implementing its purpose driven communications strategy and compelling new sustainability approach. Her substantial corporate experience will bring new perspectives to the Board, while her time on charitable trustee boards will provide an additional layer of governance and oversight.
Paul Clements-Hunt, Chair of the Board of Trustees, comments: “The level of experience, professionalism and the “can do” spirit Lisa brings to the Foundation at this critical time is a truly wonderful resource.”
He adds: “The Future-Fit Foundation’s offering is a powerful one for businesses globally and across every sector. An enhanced and polished capability to communicate and market the Future-Fit approach demanded a senior and seasoned executive for the Board. With Lisa joining us we have achieved that objective. We are delighted Lisa has agreed to join us.”
Lisa adds: “I am really looking forward to working alongside some of the world’s most respected sustainability professionals to drive the change that the planet so desperately needs. I can’t wait to get started.”
